Blog tip of the day!

Don't change the font color of your posts, let it be default, because if you decide to change templates or background colors, if you manually changed the color, if it doesn't go with your new background, you'll have to go back and change again!

That being said, if you can't read a post, I'm going back and changing stuff now. Please let me know if you find one that it seems I've skipped.

I got the same tip in the form of a criticism about a month ago, when someone who gets my feed on Google Reader said my formatting was giving her trouble. (While I stick with the default colours most of the time, I like making the passages I quote from a book match the book's cover. And since my blog has a dark background, I usually pick a very light matching colour. You can imagine how that would be frustrating to someone who reads everything on a white background.)

I would love to hear from you! (I always try to visit your blog back) I love links, so feel free to link to your blog or a post you like.
Sorry, but I am award and tag free zone, I do not have the time to return. Comments are reward enough :)
